On June 2, 2021 the Department of Fundamental and Language Training organized and held the XXth Jubilee Interuniversity Scientific Practical Conference of foreign students of preparatory faculties and departments (online format on the platform ZOOM) “The Way to Science: First Steps”.
Dean of the Faculty for training foreign citizens Svitlana Heorhiivna Kalaicheva made an opening speech and greetings to participants of the conference.
Representatives of six countries took part in the XXth Interuniversity Scientific Practical Conference of foreign students of preparatory faculties and departments “The Way to Science: First Steps”: Morocco, Congo, Nigeria, Islamic Republic of Iran, Turkey, Tunisia. Listeners of the Preparatory Faculty of the National University of Pharmacy and the Kharkiv National Medical University made their reports on topics of biology, physics, Ukrainian language and regional studies:

Ayoush Mohammed El Mehdi (Morocco).
One of the members of the conference was a graduate of pre-university education NPHaU 2009-2010 academic year, PhD, doctor nephrologist, talented film director. He spoke about his new film, which shows the harsh reality of life of some women who suffer from violence. At the end, Mr. Ayoush shared his good memories about life and studies in Ukraine, gave advice to students and warmly congratulated them on their first steps in science.
At the end of the conference, all participants received certificates and stationery with the symbols of the National University of Pharmacy.
This event enabled the students of the preparatory departments to try themselves for the first time as scientists and to show their level of proficiency in Ukrainian language.
