It has already become a good tradition to hold the annual interuniversity scientific-practical conference of foreign students of preparatory faculties and departments “The Way to Science – First Steps”. In 2012, the conference was devoted to the 20th anniversary of the preparatory faculty of the NUPh. The conference was attended by more than 300 foreign students from 49 countries of the world who study at the preparatory faculties of 11 universities in Ukraine. The holding of an intercollegiate conference has become a tradition.
Foreign students studying the Russian language in the system of pre-university training, present at conferences meaningful reports in various fields.

Scientific directions of the conference:
• language and culture;
• man and humanity: global problems and innovative solutions;
• economy and globalization: the search for new ways of development;
• Actual problems of the natural sciences: new horizons;
• modern youth in the context of the information society.

April 18, 2019, the student of the preparatory department of the National University of Pharmacy El Assri Abdeladim took part in the 27th inter-university student scientific-practical conference of foreign students “The role of science in the development of society” with a report on “Capillary phenomena.”

On May 16, 2019, a student of the preparatory department of the National University of Pharmacy El Helou Lynn took part in the II Interuniversity Conference of Foreign Students “Ukraine through the Eyes of Foreigners” with a presentation on the topic “Seven Wonders of Kharkov”.
